An Upward Look

A Daily Devotional Observation from God's Word

March 31

SCRIPTURE VERSE FOR TODAYAnd let the beauty of the LORD our God be upon us: and establish thou the work of our hands upon us; yea, the work of our hands establish thou it. (Psalm 90:17)
Have you seen the Lord today? “No,” you say,” I haven’t seen Jesus today.” Moses, in his prayer in Psalm 90, prayed for the beauty of the Lord our God to be upon him. When the people observed Moses, they could see the beauty of the Lord. Through the smile on a face, the words of encouragement from lips, the hand of kindness reaching out, the compassion of a heart, or the testimony of a soul we can see the Lord through others. Many times I’ve been touched by others who were so filled with Jesus that I could see His beauty in them. We, as Christians, need to walk such a walk with God and live such a life before men that those we come in contact with will be able to say, “I saw the Lord today!” ~~
