An Upward Look

A Daily Devotional Observation from God's Word

March 26

SCRIPTURE VERSE FOR TODAYWilt thou not revive us again: that thy people may rejoice in thee? (Psalm 85:6)
Do you need revival? I didn’t ask about your church. It’s easy to proclaim, “Our church needs revival!” It’s quite harder to look inside our own hearts and see the need of a spiritual revival in our own souls. The psalmist realized his need, he knew where to go for help, and he knew of the great fruits of revival. Search your own heart. Is it spiritually cold? Listen to God. Let Him speak to you through His word and through the Holy Spirit. It is time to seek the Lord, surrender to His will, and start enjoying the blessings of revival in your heart! There have been great church revivals, some spread to encompass whole cities, and even entire countries. All those revivals began in the hearts of God’s people. Our prayer should be, “Lord, send a great revival, and let it begin in my heart.” ~~~
