SCRIPTURE VERSE FOR TODAYBut thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. (1 Corinthians 15:57)
Only a child of God can look at a grave and shout, “O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?” The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. Because of Jesus’ forgiveness, death has no sting! Because of Jesus’ resurrection, we will be resurrected upon His return! Because of Jesus’ power, the grave cannot hold our bodies! Because of Jesus’ promise, we will enjoy eternal life in His beautiful Heaven that He has prepared! We have victory through Jesus Christ! At His coming, these mortal bodies will put on immortality. These deteriorating, diseased and worn out bodies will be miraculously changed. What a day that will be! ~
