SCRIPTURE VERSE FOR TODAYAnd now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity. (1 Corinthians 13:13)
What an observation! Here are listed three of the greatest attributes a person can possess: faith hope and charity. Each one is invaluable, yet Paul exalts one above the others, charity. Charity means brotherly love. It is the expression of our love to our fellow man. Loving our fellow man is more that just saying, “I love you.” Loving others means the sacrificing of ourselves and our possessions to meet their needs. It means treating others like we would like to be treated if our roles were reversed. While on your journey today find someone in need, and give of yourself to meet their needs. Remember, you can give without loving, but you can’t love without giving. ~
