SCRIPTURE VERSE FOR TODAYFor the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost. (Luke 19:10)
The people murmured when they saw that Jesus had gone as a guest into a home of a sinner. They immediately complained and condemned Him, not even trying to understand His motives. Jesus then explained to them that His purpose for coming down to this earth was to seek and save the lost. Zacchaeus had been a wicked man, but now was seeking repentance and forgiveness. Jesus was there to grant his desire and to save him. Jesus came to this earth to do a lot of wonderful things; however, we must never forget that His number one reason for coming was to save the lost. We are so blessed! Let’s go out today following our Master’s example and seek the lost! ~~
