SCRIPTURE VERSE FOR TODAYBut Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven. (Matthew 19:14)
Everyone is precious is God’s sight! The disciples were busy with ‘the Lord’s work’ and did not want to be bothered by those kids. Jesus, knowing their thoughts, explained that the kingdom of Heaven was made up of such. When we hear of precious little children in faraway places starving, does it touch our lives? Do we take time to minister to those children in our area who live in run down houses, whose clothes are dirty, whose hygiene is subpar, and whose parents don’t care whether they go to church or not? Let’s remember that every soul is so precious in God’s sight. Indeed Jesus does love the little children, all the children of the world! ~
