SCRIPTURE VERSE FOR TODAYFor how can I endure to see the evil that shall come unto my people? or how can I endure to see the destruction of my kindred? (Esther 8:6)
I have read the reports of people being robbed or mugged and lying injured on the streets, but nobody would stop to help. They did not want to get involved so they passed on by. Esther was not like that! She knew her people were in danger and that if she tried to save them her life could be at stake; however, she would not stand by and see them destroyed. Her compassion would not let her pass them up. The Lord often places us at a place of need so we can compassionately lend a hand. Maybe today, God will give you an opportunity to make a difference in the life and destination of a soul. ~
