SCRIPTURE VERSE FOR TODAYWith him is an arm of flesh; but with us is the LORD our God to help us, and to fight our battles. And the people rested themselves upon the words of Hezekiah king of Judah. (2 Chronicles 32:8)
In our worship services we sing the song, “He Is Able To Deliver Thee!” Oh, what a thrill to know that the God of King Hezekiah and the God of Daniel is our God. I have fought many battles in which the odds were not on my side. Those on the sidelines would predict defeat. In the heat of the battle, realizing that I could not win alone, I would turn it all over to the Lord and suddenly the tide would turn. Despair turned into triumph and defeat into victory! You do not have to fight your battles alone! God is with you, He will help you and He will fight your battles. Trust Him today! ~
