SCRIPTURE VERSE FOR TODAYBut they mocked the messengers of God, and despised his words, and misused his prophets, until the wrath of the LORD arose against his people, till there was no remedy. (2 Chronicles 36:16)
No one is as loving and compassionate as our God. John 3:16 reveals the unlimited love of God and the great price that He paid for the redemption of all who come to Him in faith. Because he had compassion on his people, He sent them His word through his messengers and prophets. The did not listen. They mocked the messengers of God, and despised his words, and misused his prophets, until the wrath of the LORD arose against his people. Judah constantly rebelled against Him until they came to the place that it is said of them “there was no remedy”. Judah had crossed God’s deadline. It was too late for revival. Judgment had come. I think that America is following the path of Judah, and that her downfall is eminent. I love this country! God loves this country! However, many of our leaders in Washington, D.C. are openly against God. They mock His word. Pastors and evangelists preach the word of the Lord, yet very few listen. I can’t dictate what others do, but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord!
