SCRIPTURE VERSE FOR TODAYHow excellent is thy lovingkindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings. (Psalm 36:7)
What is lovingkindness? Many people are kind because their job demands it. Clerks may say, “Good to see you,” or “Have a nice day” simply because they are trained to do so. They show kindness, but is it really lovingkindness? Our Heavenly Father shows kindness to us because He really loves us. To be loved by anyone is special, but to be loved by the God, the Creator of the universe, is beyond our comprehension. He invites us to come to Him in our times of trouble and cast all our cares upon Him. When the storms of this life howl, we can feel safe and secure under the shadow of His wings. We are so blessed! ~
