SCRIPTURE VERSE FOR TODAYFor my love they are my adversaries: but I give myself unto prayer. (Psalm 109:4)
How do you react when those who you love become your enemies? It is easy to respond with bitterness, even hatred and vengeance, but in such a time, David gave himself to prayer. Prayer is a direct line to Him who is the source of all our help. The Lord supplies all our needs, giving strength to survive the battle at hand. He imparts wisdom and leadership so we may make the right decisions during those difficult times of adversity. Prayer will also help calm our own souls with God’s peace that passes all understanding. It is amazing how a season of prayer will change our demeanor from frail and anxious into one that is strong and calm. Having a rough day? Give yourself to prayer! ~~
