SCRIPTURE VERSE FOR TODAYFor thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee. (Psalm 86:5)
What a wonderful God we have! John wrote, “God is love.” That is so true. The Devil would like for us to think that it’s hard to receive forgiveness, but it isn’t. The Lord is ready and willing to forgive all who come to Him (John 6:37). Once in a revival meeting several had come to the altar, and we were praying with them. I overheard a lady near me instructing a teenage girl saying, “It took me twenty years of seeking the Lord before I got saved, so it may take you that long.” I immediately went to the young lady and read to her God’s precious word which stated, “Now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.” She immediately trusted in the Lord and was saved! God is always ready to forgive! ~~
