SCRIPTURE VERSE FOR TODAYSo we thy people and sheep of thy pasture will give thee thanks for ever: we will shew forth thy praise to all generations. (Psalm 79:13)
Did you ever think how difficult it must be for an atheist when something good happens to him? He can’t just shout out, “Thank you, Lord!” On the other hand, we who are the people of a loving God and the sheep of His pasture have many reasons to praise the Lord. Every day of our lives the Lord blesses and takes care of us. He is always there when we need Him. The psalmist vows to show forth God’s praise to all generations. We must continually praise the Lord for His blessings so our children and generations to come may know that there is a God in Heaven and it is indeed He who daily loads us with benefits. What a blessing to be counted as one of His people! ~~
