An Upward Look

SCRIPTURE VERSE FOR TODAYFor promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south.  (Psalm 75:6)But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another.  (Psalm 75:7)

	We like to think that everything is in our hands, that we are in control, but there is a God in Heaven who holds the world in His hands.  It is He that can topple the strong nations as He did with the Babylonians.  It is He that can take a few people and make a great nation as He did with Israel.  	I smile when I think of the strong and powerful of this world and say in my heart, “My friend, the God of the universe, has you in His hand and you just don’t know it!”  I hear them brag about all their accomplishments and I want to shout, “Give God the glory, for it is He who has blessed you.”	Don’t forget to thank God today for your blessings.     ~~
