SCRIPTURE VERSE FOR TODAYWe see not our signs: there is no more any prophet: neither is there among us any that knoweth how long. (Psalm 74:9)
The Lord puts many signs along our pathway. Some encourage us; others warn us of impending dangers. Oft times signs are there to help us, but we don’t see them. People and events sometimes serve as our road signs. The Bible is certainly the most common way that He gives us signs. In the days when this Psalm was written, they depended more on the prophets, so when there was not prophet, the people lacked in these signs of forewarning. Maybe the Lord wants you to be a sign today. Will you go where He wants you to, and will you witness to whomever He gives you the opportunity? Our daily prayer should be, “Lord, use me today, and let me be a messenger along the path of some soul today!” ~~
