An Upward Look
A Daily Devotional Observation from God's Word
December 29
SCRIPTURE VERSE FOR TODAYBehold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame. (Revelation 16:15)
When Jesus comes again, He will come as a thief. A thief does not announce his coming. He never phones to say, “I will be at you house at midnight.” The thief will not come to stay. He takes what he wants and leaves immediately. A thief does not come to take your dirty laundry, or trash; but rather, he takes the most valuable things in your house. Likewise, when Jesus comes again to rapture the church, He will not announce the time of His arrival, He will not come to the earth to stay at that time, and He will take only the most precious jewels: those who are saved. Are you ready to His coming? ~
