A Daily Devotional Observation from God's Word

SCRIPTURE VERSE FOR TODAYHow shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him; (Hebrews 2:3)
On my eleventh birthday my dad took me to Crossville, Tennessee and bought me a brand-new Schwinn bicycle for my birthday. I was so proud of that bicycle. I oiled it, cleaned it and kept every bolt and screw tightened. After a few years I grew up and the bicycle became less important to me. I left it outside. The tires went flat and it rusted. That top-of-the-line bike became worthless because I neglected it. Neglect will ruin a Christian. If you neglect reading your Bible, praying, attending church and living right, your Christianity will soon become as worthless as that bike. How shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation? ~
