SCRIPTURE VERSE FOR TODAYAll scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works. (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
The Bible is so precious! It is completely trustworthy because it comes from the very lips of God. All scripture (that means every word) is given by inspiration of God. The writers, like Paul, did not just sit down and write their own story; but rather, holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. God used their hands to write, but they wrote His words. All of our doctrine (beliefs) should be based upon scripture. It is also intended to be used for reproof, correction and instruction that the end result might be to make us mature and more like Jesus. You will be blessed as you read God’s word each day! ~
