An Upward Look
A Daily Devotional Observation from God's Word

SCRIPTURE VERSE FOR TODAYAnd as he reasoned of righteousness, temperance, and judgment to come, Felix trembled, and answered, Go thy way for this time; when I have a convenient season, I will call for thee. (Acts 24:25)
Procrastination is not just the thief of time; it is the thief of souls. How many times has this scene been played over and over again? Felix was under conviction, and Paul was ready to lead him to the Lord. Suddenly Felix decided that the time was not convenient. Many souls have entered hell’s gates because of inconvenience. If you could go to hell now and take a poll, you would find that almost everyone there meant to get saved before they died. They just kept putting it off from one day until the next and from one invitation until the next, then expectedly death came and they were unprepared. Remember, today is the day of salvation! ~
