SCRIPTURE VERSE FOR TODAYHowbeit Jesus suffered him not, but saith unto him, Go home to thy friends, and tell them how great things the Lord hath done for thee, and hath had compassion on thee. (Mark 5:19)
It is very important that we share with others what the Lord has done for us. This man, who they called Legion, was delivered from Satan’s bondage when Jesus cast out the many demons within him. He wanted to stay with the Lord, but Jesus knew that he had friends who needed to know about God’s salvation, thus He bid him go home and tell his friends about his salvation experience. Christianity is not just a story of what happened thousands of years ago, but also a testimonial of what is presently happening today in the lives those who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. Aren’t you glad the Lord gives each of us something to talk about? ~
