SCRIPTURE VERSE FOR TODAYThe LORD thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing. (Zephaniah 3:17)
How wonderful to have the Lord in our midst! What a delightful truth is expressed here! As we rejoice over God’s loving goodness toward us, remember that He, the Creator of the universe, is rejoicing over His children with joy and singing. I thought, “How could a perfect God rejoice over such imperfect children?” Then I remembered how my children made me rejoice as I watched them grow to adulthood. Unlike God I am not perfect, but like the Lord, I rejoice in my children’s experiences. Rest in His love. Live such a life that God from Heaven will look down and rejoice when He sees you! Trust God to deliver you and meet all your needs. ~
