An Upward Look

A Daily Devotional Observation from God's Word

October 2

SCRIPTURE VERSE FOR TODAYAnd I will make her that halted a remnant, and her that was cast far off a strong nation: and the LORD shall reign over them in mount Zion from henceforth, even for ever. (Micah 4:7)

The Lord can raise nations up and bring nations down. Since He controls nations, just think what God can do in an individual’s life. The Lord can take a life that is in shambles and restore it. After denying Jesus, Peter may have given up on himself as he wept bitterly. He was so low he had to reach up to touch bottom, but later Jesus restored him, commanding him to “feed His lambs and sheep!” Peter did just that! It was he that God chose to lead the great Jerusalem church! No matter what your problem Jesus Christ is ready to put the pieces of your life back together again. Just try Jesus, He never fails! ~
