An Upward Look

A Daily Devotional Observation from God's Word

September 17

SCRIPTURE VERSE FOR TODAYAnd they shall teach my people the difference between the holy and profane, and cause them to discern between the unclean and the clean. (Ezekiel 44:23)

Even in this modern world, there is still a difference between right and wrong and between holy and unholy. Churches are full of people who do not know the Lord. They live ungodly lives, yet claim to be holy. Recently on the news we saw a Sodomite claiming to be a minister of God. NO WAY! One who lives in such depth of sin need first to repent and turn from that sin before trying to lead anyone else. We must realize that we are either Godly or ungodly; we can’t be both. It is our job as parents, teachers and preachers to let the people know that there is a difference between holy and profane. How can you know what is right or what is wrong? The Bible is the final authority. Sin is still sin no matter how modern man may try to justify it! ~~~
