SCRIPTURE VERSE FOR TODAYIt is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. (Lamentations 3:22)They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. (Lamentations 3:23)
What an awesome God we have! Thought we fail him again and again, yet He remains faithful. His mercy, His compassion and His faithfulness have no equal. His mercy brought us the forgiveness of our sins. Those sins carried the heavy penalty of eternal death in the lake of fire, but through His forgiveness we may live eternally with Him in Heaven! His compassion brought us a Redeemer, Jesus Christ our Lord. God looked beyond our faults and saw our needs; He loved us in spite of all our shortcomings. His faithfulness assures us that not one of His promises to us will fail. We know that His word is absolutely true. Indeed, GREAT IS THY FAITHFULNESS! ~
