An Upward Look
A Daily Devotional Observation from God's Word

SCRIPTURE VERSE FOR TODAYThat the LORD thy God may shew us the way wherein we may walk, and the thing that we may do. (Jeremiah 42:3)
The remnant of the people that were left behind after the fall of Judah asked Jeremiah to seek God’s will for them. At that moment they wanted to do God’s will more than anything. We find in the next chapter that, after getting their answer from the Lord, they refused to listen and did just the opposite of what they were told to do. How many times do we ask, “Lord, what do you want me to do today?” Then after getting the answer, we do not like it, so we disobey and consequently miss God’s bountiful blessings. Our destination is satisfactory only when we follow the path that the Lord has designed for us. Ask His direction today! ~~
