SCRIPTURE VERSE FOR TODAYCall unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not. (Jeremiah 33:3)
God has made wonderful provisions for us through prayer. He says, “Call unto me….” Most people are not interested in hearing about our troubles or needs, but the Lord is! We are invited in the New Testament to cast all our care upon a caring Savior. The Lord actually promises to answer those prayers! “…I will answer thee…” He assures us. Though our best friends may be willing to listen to our problems, they cannot promise us that they will supply our every need. Only God can do that. The last part of this verse says, “… (I will) show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.” God can do anything! God has all power and because He is God, nothing is impossible with Him! What a wonderful thing to know that God still hears and answers prayers. Read Jeremiah 33:3 and claim its promises. ~~~
