SCRIPTURE VERSE FOR TODAYCan the Ethiopian change his skin, or the leopard his spots? then may ye also do good, that are accustomed to do evil. (Jeremiah 13:23)
One can no more change his heart than he can change the color of his skin! He may reform again and again, but until he is regenerated by the power of God his life will stay the same. This regeneration is called being ‘born again’. A person may turn over a new leaf, make resolutions every New Year’s Day, or reform his lifestyle continually, but he will soon revert back to his old ways. Being born again from above means your heart will change. Your delight and desires will change. God will give you a divine nature as His Holy Spirit indwells and infills you. It is God, and only He, who can change your past, present and future. Have you experienced the miracle of the new birth? ~~
