SCRIPTURE VERSE FOR TODAYThus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein. (Jeremiah 6:16)
Satan comes up with new ways every day, but if you want to go to Heaven, seek the old paths. Since the beginning, men have been trying new-fangled ways that were more exciting, enticing or convenient. Of the world’s many religions many different ways to Heaven are taught today; however, only through repentance of his sins and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ and His redemptive sacrifice will man reach Heaven. Even those in Christian churches are tempted to modernize the plan of salvation, thinking they will reach more people. Do not be fooled! The old-fashioned way taught in God’s word still works today. Jesus declared in John 14, “I am THE way.” There is no other! ~
