SCRIPTURE VERSE FOR TODAYA prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself; but the simple pass on, and are punished. (Proverbs 27:12)
Have you heard of the man that cut a finger off with a saw? When someone asked him how he did it, he showed them and cut another finger off. Sometimes we just never learn! The same thing happens in our relationship with sin. We have heard of the dangers of evil. We may have been overtaken by sin and suffered its damage, yet we go right back to the same old trap and get caught again. Let’s be prudent. Upon understanding the dangers of evil let’s avoid even the very appearance of evil. Stay away from it. Run from it as you would a poisonous snake. God has given us His word to read, study and meditate upon, and most of all, the Lord wants us to obey it! If we listened to what the Lord tells us we would not get into so much trouble. ~~~
