A Daily Devotional Observation from God's Word

SCRIPTURE VERSE FOR TODAYAnd Asa did that which was good and right in the eyes of the LORD his God: (2 Chronicles 14:2)
King Asa did that which was good and right and certainly paid off for both him and the nation of Judah where he reigned. He did away with the altars of strange gods and broke their images, and he commanded Judah to seek the Lord and do the law and commandments. God blessed him with a quiet kingdom with no wars and gave the land rest. God still blesses righteous living today. He did not promise that we would be the richest or most famous person in our town, but God did promise to supply our needs. He did not promise that we would never get sick, but He did promise His healing touch. God did not promise that we would never be tempted, but He did promise that with every temptation He would make a way of escape that we may be able to bear it. ~~~
