SCRIPTURE VERSE FOR TODAYAnd they were helped against them, and the Hagarites were delivered into their hand, and all that were with them: for they cried to God in the battle, and he was intreated of them; because they put their trust in him. (1 Chronicles 5:20)
When the Israelites that were on the east side of Jordan went to battle, they were victorious. However, their victory was not attributed to their mighty weapons or to their superior military knowledge, but to the fact that they cried unto God in the battle and put their trust Him. How many times do we go into battle, trusting ourselves and our talents, only to fall on our faces in defeat? We often learn, after a long list of failures, that it is our faith in the Lord that overcomes the battles of life. They still had to fight the battle with their God given abilities, but their trust was not in those abilities, but in the Lord. Completely trust God for all your needs. When trials come your way today, rely totally upon Him for deliverance. God knows your situation and He will deliver. Trust Him! ~~~
