An Upward Look
A Daily Devotional Observation from God's Word
February 22
SCRIPTURE VERSE FOR TODAYThe fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good. (Psalm 53:1)
I strolled along in the darkness of late night, and looked up to see the magnificent handywork of God who created all those things for His glory and our blessing. What a sight to behold! There was the constellation, Orion, who comes up in the eastern sky every night with his shoulders so broad, and his sword in its sheath. He makes his journey across the dimmed night sky until he gently steps below the western horizon. I observed the Milky Way with millions of brilliant stars that embrace our universe. Looking toward the north, I saw the big dipper, always pointing to the North Star. I watched in awe as the sun rose in the east with its orange, purple and yellow splashed across the sky so blue. Can one look at these things and say that there is no God? One would be a fool. ~~~
