SCRIPTURE VERSE FOR TODAYThou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows. (Psalm 45:7)
Do we love or do we hate? We are told that if we love the right things (righteousness) and hate the wrong things (wickedness) that we will he blessed with the oil of gladness. Satan tells you the opposite. He will try to convince you that you will not be happy unless you participate in his wickedness. He paints a beautiful picture, but his advertisements are false. Eve listened to Satan and came to the conclusion that a little disobedience wouldn’t hurt, but her wickedness plunged the world into the curse of sin. On the other hand, one who denies himself the pleasures of this wicked world and loves the righteousness of God will be blessed indeed. ~
