SCRIPTURE VERSE FOR TODAYMy voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up. (Psalm 5:3)
What a life-changing promise! David promised the Lord that he would look up to Heaven every morning, and talk to Him. Every child of God ought to have a time set aside each day to look up to the Lord in Bible reading, meditation, prayer and praise. While a young teenage Christian I began to experience the benefits of spending time alone with God each day. I found that the day would go much better if I first had a devotional time with my Lord. Many times a scripture that I read would be just what I needed to overcome some trial of the day. That time alone with God each morning is used by the Holy Spirit to nourish our souls, and help us to grow in grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. Look up to God each day, and reap its life-changing benefits! ~~~
