An Upward Look
A Daily Devotional Observation from God's Word

SCRIPTURE VERSE FOR TODAYAnd the waters prevailed exceedingly upon the earth; and all the high hills, that were under the whole heaven, were covered. (Genesis 7:19)
After living 1656 years upon this earth mankind had become so wicked that God brought flood waters upon the earth and destroyed all humanity, with the exception of Noah’s family. The word of God indicates that the flood was worldwide, yet men continue to argue that it only covered a small portion of the globe. Genesis 7:19 should settle that argument. It states that “all the high hills that were under the whole heaven were covered.” Unbelieving evolutionists teach that it took millions of years for earth’s grandeurs, such as the Grand Canyon, to form; however, consider the upheaval of a world-wide flood, and you will conclude it all happened in the 150 days of its existence. ~
