An Upward Look

A Daily Devotional Observation from God's Word

April 3

SCRIPTURE VERSE FOR TODAYThere failed not ought of any good thing which the LORD had spoken unto the house of Israel; all came to pass. (Joshua 21:45)
When the Lord speaks, you can carve it in stone; it will definitely come to pass! After listening to the news media putting their spin on the news, or sales people over promoting their products, it is good to know that there is one voice that is always 100% true. That voice is the Lord’s. You can rely upon His written word, just like Moses and Joshua relied upon His spoken word. The Lord will fulfill His promises today just as He did then. He said that He would never leave or never forsake us. By faith we believe that as we walk through the exit doors of this life, we will enter the gates of paradise where the Lord and our loved ones await. Why do we believe that? Because He tells us that it will come to pass, and that is good enough for me! ~~~
