SCRIPTURE VERSE FOR TODAYDavid said moreover, The LORD that delivered me out of the paw of the lion, and out of the paw of the bear, he will deliver me out of the hand of this Philistine. And Saul said unto David, Go, and the LORD be with thee. (1 Samuel 17:37)
David believed that his God would deliver him anytime he needed. The strength of his faith can be attributed to the fact that he had already trusted God in the smaller matters, and his God had come through. Now, David was faced with his greatest challenge to date. The trials of the past had prepared him for this one. We sometimes want to look to Heaven and ask, “Lord, why am I going through this trial?” The Lord may be preparing us for a greater work. We must trust God to know what He is doing, and remember that all things do work together for good to them that love God. Do you have faith that strong? ~
