An Upward Look

A Daily Devotional Observation from God's Word

April 10

SCRIPTURE VERSE FOR TODAYEnter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. (Psalm 100:4)
Want to make your church services more spiritual and fulfilling? We tend to enter into worship services with cares of this life and thoughts of things other than the worship of the King, and then leave complaining that we did not get anything out of the service. Try God’s formula for successful worship. The moment that you touch the door to enter into the sanctuary do what this verse tells you to do. Think of the things that the Lord has done for you, and enter with an attitude of thankfulness and praise. You will be pleasantly surprised! The singing will be more uplifting, the preaching will be more enlightening, and even the people will be friendlier. ~
